Baccante
IGT Toscana Rosso
Baccante is born from the union of Sangiovese and Merlot, grown in the estate’s most suitable vineyards in Rignano sull’Arno. The clay-rich soils and altitude of around 400 metres contribute to a wine of depth, structure and personality.
Fermentation lasts approximately 15–18 days with skin maceration, followed by natural malolactic fermentation. The wine then matures in small oak barrels for 12–14 months and completes its ageing in bottle.
